My room drawing shows one point perspective with a single vanishing point. It also includes a door and windows, and the windows have panes and a middle point. The drawing on the left shows a circle in perspective, which turns into an ellipse.
I'm working on putting boxes in space using one point perspective in the middle. I'm using the pattern of boxes/squares instead of using other shapes, and trying to overlap them with one another.
This is a collage type work using one point perspective. This was created by making a dot somewhere on the square, drawing lines to the edges from that point, and gluing strips down following those lines. Connecting these lines together this way causes you to focus on a single point, putting it into perspective, which is why it's called one point perspective. It can only be viewed from one place. It creates an illusion of the boxes getting smaller as it goes further in. The lines create shapes when they connect together following the perspective.
We're working on using relative size, overlapping, and value to create the illusion of space in a drawing. By connecting the parallelograms together and having them overlap, they will create this illusion of space.
