this assignment is a one point perspective hall drawing. It looks like the hall across from the room and it's done with pencil. One skill I learned in this assignment was using value in shading to create a sense of perspective. The main art elements are lines to create one point perspective, value to create depth, and space to also add to perspective and make sure there's enough room between each object. These help create the idea of a snapshot, since it's very still and shows what the hall looks like.
This is a room drawing using one point perspective. It's a drawing of a room with different furniture all connecting to one vanishing point, and it's using pencil. One new skill that was used in this project is proportion. I had to make sure that the furniture got smaller towards the end of the room and stayed bigger as it was more near the viewer. The main art elements I used were line and space. Lines created most of the furniture, and space was used to make sure it was proportioned right and made sense together. This all represents the idea of a calming room.
